How Cat Insurance Works
For your own, you can visit any licensed veterinarian including specialists and emergency animal hospitals that can really make a difference in your pet's care. The plan even covers alternative care. After registering your cat, there will be a short waiting period of 15 days for new accidents and illnesses and a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia1,2.

With no claim forms yet, we have
created the quickest and easiest claim process for our customers. Simply take a
photo of your vet bill and submit it through the Healthy Paws Mobile app or
through our online Customer Center. It's that easy!
We'll process your claims quickly (in
fact, most claims are processed within 2 days) and you'll receive a refund
check in the mail or you can sign up for direct deposit. Of course, if this is
your first claim, we will need a clinical examination to register your pet to
complete your claim. We may also pre-approval for more expensive treatments
(depending on the case) with your veterinary hospital where you can designate
your insurance payment to be paid directly to the veterinary hospital to help
reduce your burden upfront.

Kittens and younger kittens can

Cats six years
and older
As cats age, they may be affected by
a hereditary or congenital condition that can cost you big bucks if you don't
